"SoulShine was the best place we stayed in during our trip to Guanacaste! Not only is the place beyond beautiful and peaceful (we felt like we had the place to ourselves because it's so big), but the staff was amazing (thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality, Yael :)) and the food was the most delicious we ate. Everything on their menu is worth trying. I'm still dreaming about the vegan Shak-shoo-ka, the challah French Toast, the Surprise Salad & the Avocado Toast! Yael gave us a lot of recommendations on where to go, where to eat out, and it was always on point. The pool is amazing, the rooms are big and clean, and the Wi-Fi was the best we experienced during our stay in Costa Rica. We would definitely go back!"
"The owners are gracious hosts and a helpful local resource. The pool was big enough for us to play but small enough to keep an eye on our young children. They have a nice boutique with natural fiber clothing and beach accessories. And don’t even get me started on the café. We had the yummiest brunches! The French toast was a favorite of the boys and my husband and I loved the Sha-shoo-ka and Surprise Salad. We will definitely be back!"
"Such a special place! The owners are so warm, welcoming and incredibly hard working. We just returned from a week stay with our 1.5 year old and couldn’t have had a better time. The grounds are beautiful, lots of places to relax by the pool and the beach is a short walk away. We loved sitting outside of our casita listening to the howler monkeys. The room was very comfortable to sleep in with the air conditioning. Perhaps the best part, the brunch is absolutely unbelievable (we're in withdrawal from the Shak-shoo-ka and French Toast)."

At SoulShine, you won't feel like you're staying in a hotel; you'll feel like a part of the family.
Yael and Roee bought the hotel in 2019 and moved their family here from Israel. Today, SoulShine embodies their relaxed and casual style yet ensures each guest is comfortable and cared for.
In the kitchen, every meal is prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients following authentic Middle Eastern recipes.
